Sandhya KC, a VJ to debut with Anmol KC in Bhuwan KC film

A VJ of Image Channel for the last two years, Sandhya KC, is going to debut in Bhuwan KC‘s film ‘Dreams’ with his son Anmol KC. In a report, Sandhya is yet to sign in the agreement, but everything else is finalized and Bhuwan is also looking for another actress in the film

Bhuwan reportedly contacted Sandhya after seeing her in a TV program. Before Image Channel, Sandhya used to work as a VJ in News 24’s channel E24.

5′ 3" tall and 21-years-old Sandhya is planning to start MBA soon. A table tennis player, Sandhya once had won the second place in a national level game.


The Bhuwan’s home production movie is going on floor before the end of the year.

Keki, sole actress invited to inaugurate Rajesh Payal Rai restaurant, something cooking?

Singer Rajesh Payal Rai is starting a new business, a restaurant named Darshan Namaste. To inaugurate the restaurant Rajesh had invited actress Keki Adhikari. Rai is known to be close to almost every artists in Nepali film industry but, when Keki was the sole actress in the ceremony, a rumor has started about their relationship.

n addition to cutting the ribbon to the restaurant, Keki and Rajesh Payal also cut a cake and they shared it with each other. When the journalists present in the ceremony questioned why Keki was the only actress in the ceremony Rai told, “Keki is a person I like.” Keki added, “After being together in Bahrain program, I have been influenced by him. I hope I will get to cut the cake again next year.”


On the Valentines Day, Rajesh Payal Rai wrote, “Happy Valentine to all … specially miss my selfie queen,” and shared three photos of them together.




Rajesh Payal Rai and actor Rajesh Hamal are good friends. After Rajesh Hamal married Madhu Bhattarai, Rajesh Payal had told that it is his turn to get married.

Trailer and song of gangster SADANGA unveiled

Trailer and song of film SADANGA full of beauty, glamour, action and sexual flavors, has been made public at a program in the capital on Wednesday. Suraj Sunuwar debuting in direction trough the film said that the movie has incorporated six aspects of politics.



Politics is near to every subjects of the society, the same thing has been presented in the film of gangster style,” director Sunuwar said. The story of the film was written by Sunuwar himself.

Speaking at the program, actor Anup Baral said that the film has been made in different style, while actress Priyanka Karki opined that her role in the movie was full of challenges.

Along with Anup and Priyanka, Saugat Malla, Bijay Lama, Suram Raj Tuladhar and Nabin Mananhdar among others have acted. Harshika Shrestha has made special appearance in the movie produced by Samir Sunuwar under the banner of Luminous Pictures. The film is slated for nationwide release from Chaitra 13.

Saujanya Subba marries Bhupen Chand, a second attempt of both

Everybody knew it was coming. The affair between actress Saujanya Subba and actor and son of ex-prime minister, Bhupen Chand, was no secret. Bhupen was previously married to Amrit Singh and he also has a child with hos previous marriage.

In reports, Bhupen had married Amrit Singh, a divorce, for money. A daughter of ex-General of Nepal Army, Toran Bahadur Singh, had married an Indian businessman and divorced before marrying Bhupen.


Saujanya is currently living in the USA. Bhupen is also reportedly planning to go to the USA to live together with Saujanya.

Before meeting Bhupen and after a divorce, Saujanya Subba was having affair with Rose Rana, an actor and producer. When the relationship turned sour, Rose threatened to publicize the sex video of Saujanya. Bhupen had also taken Rose Rana to the police custody over the incident.

She also returned to the film industry in ‘Nai Nabhannu La 3′ after four years of absence from the industry.

Sweta Khadka talks to BBC for the first time after Shree Krishna death

For the first time in six months after the death of her husband, actress Sweta Khadka has talked to BBC Nepali. In an emotional interview, Sweta told how she is coping with the grief.

Sweta told that Shree Krishna wasn’t well during their marriage and she started living in hospital with Shree Krishna two days after the marriage until his death. After the death of Shree Krishna, Sweta was in a deep grieving that lasted for about four months. In those four months she was in semi-conscious state. In the interview, Sweta told that it has only been a couple of months she has started taking care of herself.



Because of lying in bed for four months, Sweta developed back pain. She is currently undergoing the treatment and and resting. She is hopeful to start working in near future.

Surabhi Jain leaves the Nepali film industry (again)

On the new year day, the ‘Samaya’ debut actress Surabhi Jain has announced leaving the Nepali film industry to join her father’s business. In a Facebook post, Surabhi has told that she is "taking a break from the film industry." She added, it was a good experience and privilege to work with the film industry people. Surabhi said that she has joined her father’s business and is "trying to become a good entrepreneur’.
