rising Bhutanese Artist – Eric Giri
Eric Giri is a young, passionate and rising singer in the Bhutanese community who is a great fan of Nepali Music. Born in tiny Himalayan country Bhutan, raised in refugee camp and he is now living in Toronto Canada; Eric surely has an amazing talent.
After spending over 2 decades of down trodden and homeless refugee life, there seems no lack of enthusiasm and passion for success. Eric mention that he used to listen to the Nabin K Bhattrai’s songs while he was teenager and he is self-inspired and motivated by his songs. He considers Nabin K Bhattrai as his idol.
Eric has been entertaining the Bhutanese Nepali society around the globe by presenting his melodious voice and demonstrating his inborn talents and potentialities through music and acting. So far he has released about few music videos.
There isn’t any surprise that he has gone extra miles in musical race without any formal musical/vocational classes. Eric is also a good guitarist, composer and writer, who has given lyrics for over 60 songs and composed and given vocal to over dozen Nepali songs.
Eric Giri recently released his music video “Bachelors – Bihe Garne Khaile Ho” under the Hutnumber101’s Production banner on Valentine’s Day. During the interview with GlobalBhutan Eric revealed that he is coming with his solo album in the market by the fall of 2015.
Eric aims to inspire and motivate young amateurs and help to promote Bhutanese Nepalese culture and values through his music. He considers himself as amateur who is constantly learning and helping the young Bhutanese artist around the globe.
GlobalBhutan team would like to wish Eric Giri and Hutnumber101 a very successful future ahead.
